This 5 day course for programmers and technical support personnel teaches the basic techniques for programming an AMX control system utilizing multiple types of control ( Input/Output, Infrared, Analog,Serial string data, and Tuner select). You will also use basic techniques to troubleshoot programming errors in a NetLinx program.

Program Logic and Flow Channels Levels Send_string Send_command Debug Variables ( Character and Integer ) D:P:S Software history Conditionals ( If, Else, Select..Active ) Waits Basic System_calls Define_call, Define_function While loops Review buffer/String processing
Prerequisites: Online Tutorials - Basics of Control, NetLinx Studio Quiz, Intro. to AMX Programming, and Intro to AMX Product Quiz.
Recommended Online Tutorials: Introduction to Networking for AV Professionals and Control Networks
It is also recommended, but not required that you have PC proficiency and have taken the Essentials of A/V (ICIA) course. Prior programming language is helpful but not required.
